First references are from year 1,600 when Spanish conquerors learned from Peruvian tribes that the latex of Dragon Blood was excellent for a quicker wound healing. Sangre de Dragon, more commonly known as Dragon’s Blood, is a wildcrafted resin that comes from the Croton Uechleri trees found in the Amazon Rainforest of South America. The heart-shaped leaves and the blood-like red sap speak to the abilities of this beautiful tree to heal wounds and cleanse the blood.
